I’m interested in the stories that stress the act of reclamation and that strengthen the connection between people. I trust the meaning gained from using simple earth materials to narrate complex social issues about labor, experience, and environment.

I continually practice my craft with invention and imagination. My process of creating stories, depicting images, and creating objects is slow and I work slowly to reflect all sorts of trials and cultural joys of human experience.

I’m motivated to create stories that span the gap between nature, tangent hierarchies, and culture. I believe that Art contributes to the human story and satisfies the need for expression and narrative. Each of my artworks is grounded in this understanding.
